Tanzania is a second largest honey producer in Africa, producing only approximately 30,000 tons per annum. It is said that the scale of harvest is far less than its potential given by climate, flower resources e.t.c. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> For many years beekeeping in Tanzania has only been practiced by the elderly persons using traditional means of production and processing. Now we are seeing a change in the trend, where youth and woman account for the majority groups that do beekeeping activities and involve the use of modern equipment\u2019s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> We Nisshin Honey are trying to spread a series of more efficient manner of beekeeping in Tanzania, which we hope leads the higher number of the produce in Tanzania.
