Nature of Tanzanian Honeybees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This time I\u2019m telling you about the nature of Tanzanian honey bees\u2019.  As mentioned before, there are three species of stinging honey bees in Tanzania. Each of them has far fierce nature, easily stinging, compared to honey bees in Japan. This is what I’d heard before visiting a Tanzanian apiary. I was very scared on the way to the first apiary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It have been only several times that I got stung in Japan by honey bees, who\u2019s been taking a part of beekeeping in total approximately 18 months. Rarely I do get stung with just opening the rid of the hive box. Even the honey bees perch on me, hands, legs or arms, usually they don\u2019t harass with pain at all. When it comes to harvesting, there would be no difficulties compared to Tanzanian, just picking out frames with full of honey in combs and brushing the honeybees away. That\u2019s it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve got to known that there is one specie that seems to have just a little more aggressive character than Italian Apis Mellifera, working in Japan. Observing bees like in Japan was absolutely possible. Meanwhile, I’ve also grasped there is one specie that is, by its high aggressiveness, easily possible to let me imagine that beekeeping with them is definitely difficult. For instance bees gave me attack, and they’d just followed us unless we took a ride on a truck and shook off bees with high speed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will Nisshin Honey succeed in producing Tanzanian honey without exposing to Tanzanian bees’ threat? We’ll keep you update. I hope you to keep your fingers crossed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
