私がタンザニアに行く理由 1
私はこれまでにタンザニアで困ったことを幾つかご紹介してきました…。行かせて大丈夫なのか、という声も社内で出ているようです…。ですが、そういう面も含めて日本では体験できない貴重な体験とポジティブに考え、このプロジェクトに臨んでいます。今日は、そんな声を払拭するためではありませんが、私がタンザニアにまた来よう、と感じるエピソードをご紹介します。
これまでにタンザニアに3回渡航し、タクシーのドライバーさんや訪問先の担当者さんなど、何人かの現地のタンザニア人と一緒に仕事をしてきました。彼らがいつも笑顔で迎えてくれる姿を目にすると、無性に嬉しくなります。飛行機で20時間以上離れているところに私たちを待っている人がいる喜びが、またタンザニアに戻ってこようと思わせるのかもしれません。
それからもうひとつ。打合せ中に気分が悪くなり嘔吐してしまった経験があります。しかも御手洗いに間に合わず、人目につくところで…。申し訳なさと恥ずかしさで一杯の私に、こちらに向かって歩いていた見知らぬ現地の方が、「大丈夫？」と駆け寄ってきて下さったり、私たちのドライバーさんがすぐにどこかへ飛んで行き、お店の人に清掃のお願いをしてくださったり、そしてお店の方が無言で片づけて下ったり…タンザニアの方々の優しさを身に染みて感じました。こうした親身になってくれる人と一緒に働きたいと思っているから、またタンザニアに来ようと思うのかもしれません。
私がタンザニアに行くのは、これまでの渡航を通して知り合った人たちに再会したい、彼らと一緒に働きたいと感じるからです。そして、ビジネスチャンスを生み出して、彼らの国をもっと知ることができたら、経験することができたらと考えているからだと思います。私がタンザニアに行く理由について、今後も不定期で発信していこうと思います。
土は女性、特に妊婦さんにお勧めらしいです… 地元の方々と交流できた私的にほっこりした思い出です。

What brings me to Tanzania? No. 1
As you may know, I am puzzled in Tanzania. While some of our team seem to wonder if they could let me go, I’m positively thinking those experience as one aspect of what I can’t experience in Japan. Today, I’m going to tell you episodes that brings me back to Tanzania. Let me clear initially : This is not to ease our team.
I have visited Tanzania three times so far, and worked together and got to know each other with the local people such as a taxi driver, visiting place officers, and visiting company staffs as well. It’s always pleasant reunion. I’m so happy that they find us, sometimes in the crowd, and beckon with the smiley face. It also gives me pleasure that we have people waiting over 7,000 miles away! That is possibly one reason of what brings me back to Tanzania.
I will give you another episode. I have felt sick and vomited during a meeting. I darted off to the toilet, but unfortunately on the way… You know? I felt so sorry and embarrassed. One gentle man walking toward me rushed to me and asked whether I was all right. And, our driver flew away and came back to me to tell that the staff would clean up and I didn’t need to do at all. The staff tidied up without any claim. I have felt warm hearts of Tanzanian’s. Those kind and devoting people is one of my reason to bring me back in Tanzania. I think I’d love to work with them.
What brings me to Tanzania… one answer is clearly people that I’ve met there. I long to unite them and work together. I also wish we’ll find out business chance in Tanzania and I’ll get to know and experience more about their county. I’m sure there are other factors that brig me to Tanzania, I’ll tell you irregularly. Stay tuned, thank you.
It’s said in Tanzania soil is good for women, especially the pregnant women… For me it was nice experience to chat with the local people
